We started this page, thinking of writing and working with media.

The idea of the coming up Writing Tiks Sessions is to write together, with TIK media.

First milestone is to finish a couple of interesting media writing pieces about either the content of TIK or related issues and projects. Final goal is to finish a whole catalog and publication based on TIK ideas, events, wiki and whatever…

How?
Underneath you find a first megalomaniac table of content (TOC) in which we mention all the possible things practical and hypothetical, that have occured within the 2 years of the TIK project. Every week we see who is writing on what. To write you make a link in the schedule and start an article/page. We use the excessive information that is already in the tik-wiki and padma environments, but try to rewrite it collaboratively into either a more comprehensive or artistic, but for sure public media piece. The TOC is a sort of blueprint that follows us in what the overal process is, but also will show holes, blank white pages and noise in the screen. By adding, renaming, deleting, reordening in it we will by May 2012 come to a definitive publication that will be accomodating the end festival of the project.
From now on we will be working on a weekly basis at it, starting with a short chat to communicate about interests, technical questions and ideas, content issues, media art issues, … The first result will be a small publication (electronic/printed/broadcast/streamed/???) in September, with what we have done till then. The numbers in the TOC will be used for shuffling the pages later on.

Writing is writing media to memory, and sharing it.
