Somehow working with padma (should we call the next update tikma?) to make descriptions of the audiovisual material we are starting within the TIK project. Documentation means for us past-present-future documentation. The resulting questions could be many:
As we were working within the padma environment, we were only doing some exercises with video. The idea was to explore new skills in working bottom up with the material collected.
You can play the above video, and you will see the transcriptions underneath change as it is continuing in time. Actually about 10 people were transcribing in detail about 5 minutes of documentation(some provided a new description every 10 secs, others took logical sequences…). It is an edit about the windclock building workshop last September on the island of Korcula.
These movies were all provided with transcriptions/descriptions of around 1 minute, then we tried to give some categorization for each relevant item, to build together a kind of ad hoc collection that could be searchable and expandable…
Next on the list could be: how to get from there to writing memos. But therefor we talked to the pad.ma developers to help us out with the possibility of creating links to padma from within the wiki (here this).
