We had a really interesting introduction of Jonathan about the ideas of Soundwalks and museum soundwalks. We collected ideas, about how we want to work in the museum on day two and what topics we will go into deeper (of course time and other things).
We went to our chosen museum, the museum of the slovenian/croatian peasant uprising:

We recorded all morning soundfiles. As in Croatia it was national day of museum, we were confronted with a lot of schoolclasses, which made our recording conditions quite interesting and rather difficult. As we spent hours there only recording, the material we retrieved from that, is astonishingly well. We used all kind of microphones: binaural microphones, contact microphones, shotgun microphones and stereo microphones. With a range like this we got really different and interesting results in the same locations.
We spent the whole day with editing, listening to each others sound files and putting the walk together. still in process. stand clear for pictures and soundfiles, which will appear on http://padma.okno.be
